NGEN is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of NGEN, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.

Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a Tools and Operations Lead to support End User delivery as one of the key members of the Seat Services team. The candidate will build, develop, and automate business processes throughout the Seat Services team.
Primary Responsibilities
Build automated tools
Manages a small team consisting of End User professionals to support the build, development, and automation of business processes
Provide primary input to hiring, firing, promotion and rewards decisions for direct reports
Apply continual service improvement methodologies to existing processes
Provide oversight to all operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create specific and efficient communication between tools
Basic Qualifications
US Citizen
DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior related work experience. 10 years relative experience acceptable in place of a degree
Must demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies
Must demonstrated expertise in IT Enterprise Operations
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent programming and automation skills
