Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant you will work in a collaborative and diverse team environment providing many opportunities to have an active voice. You will advise clients on their Supply Chain and Operations strategy and work with them to implement next generation solutions. Deloitte brings world-class supply network capabilities, operational know-how, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions experience to our clients; specializing in: Digital Supply Networks, Internet of Things, Sourcing and Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Development, Dynamic Fulfillment, and Synchronized Planning.

Illustrative activities include:

• Work directly with clients to achieve their strategic, technical, and operational goals
• Facilitate client workshops that translate business needs into functional design requirements and technical system requirements including testing and training of the final solution
• Evaluate operational and business processes to solve complex problems in Supply Chain distribution space
• Apply supply chain technical and functional operational capabilities on projects
• Provide input into project decisions regarding timeline and project plan
• Troubleshoot system problems, discover root causes and develop solutions

• 2+ years of professional experience working in a Supply Chain Management organization
• 2+ years of experience with warehouse operations continuous improvements including knowledge of warehouse environments and/or operations
• 2+ years of experience conducting the following activities: business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design process, system testing (all phases), solution delivery, customer support, process document creations and review, working with onsite and offshore delivery model
• Experience using analytics and metrics to assess warehouse processes and operational performance to identify and quantify improvement opportunities
• Experience with WMS solutions with other downstream execution/planning applications
• Warehouse subject matter expertise in Receiving, Shipping, Order Management, Inventory Management, Automation and Fulfillment
• A Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Outstanding critical thinking, analytics and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS Power Point)
• Experience working with cross-functional / extended teams
• Advanced Degree in Supply Chain or Business (MBA) with an operations research or supply chain emphasis
• Experience working as a Consultant in a consulting firm delivering supply chain services in a client environment
• Experience with the following Warehouse Management Technology solutions: Blue Yonder, Korber (High Jump) and/or Manhattan
• Project experiences in one or more of the following industries: Retail and Consumer Products, Semi-conductor, Life Sciences, Oil, Gas and Chemicals
