Senior Specialist - Governance and Process Analyst - BT

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Specialist with expertise in technology to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective technology governance frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure that our technology platforms meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance. The analyst will be effective at developing, communicating, and implementing processes and job aids necessary to mature BT Support teams and continually drive operational compliance and improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Performs extensive metrics and KPI assessments, process audits, behavior identification and remediation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain technology governance that meet the highest standards of security, reliability, and performance.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate technology-related risks.
  • Monitor compliance to processes and facilitate periodic audits and assessments.
  • Assess risks and provide recommendations for process and service improvements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all employees understand technology governance policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on technology governance issues, providing guidance and advice to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in experience in process design, technology governance and compliance
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to technology governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications are preferred.
