What you'll be doing...

We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented Manager of Base Strategy and Analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to maximize customer retention and drive portfolio growth within the prepaid base segment. This role entails analyzing data, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights to enhance customer experience, optimize pricing, and increase customer lifetime value. The candidate will also play a crucial role in establishing and communicating the strategy, results and outcomes for the prepaid base management team focused on customer retention and driving revenue and ensuring the long-term success of the prepaid base portfolio.

  • Developing, executing, and communicating a comprehensive strategy to retain and grow the prepaid base portfolio.
  • Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities and inform strategy development.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to align goals and objectives, ensuring a customer-centric approach and long-term sustainability.
  • Communicating results, strategic plan, analytics in various forums.
  • Developing strategy from insights/results and building narrative to help cross functional and external partners understand via slide-ware.
  • Leading a team of analysts in analyzing customer data, transactional data, and other relevant sources to generate actionable insights.
  • Utilizing statistical models, predictive analytics, and segmentation techniques to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and customer retention.
  • Conducting pricing analysis and optimizing pricing strategies based on profitability and customer value.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance customer retention through personalized campaigns, loyalty programs, and targeted offers.
  • Collaborating with marketing teams to develop and execute retention initiatives, utilizing insights and predictive modeling to drive customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of retention initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining portfolio performance dashboards, reports, and metrics to track customer churn, revenue, and profitability.
  • Conducting regular analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the prepaid base portfolio.
  • Collaborating with finance and business intelligence teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of portfolio performance.
  • Working closely with product, finance, sales, and marketing teams to align strategies, goals, and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data integrity, simplification of data processes, and availability for analytics purposes.
  • Partnering with customer service and operations teams to improve processes and customer experience based on analytics insights.

This role may be considered as part of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in analytics, strategy development, or related roles within the telecommunications or prepaid industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and segmentation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and partnership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a matrix environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.
  • MBA, Master's, or advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI) to communicate complex findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of the prepaid mobile telecommunications industry and its unique dynamics is preferred.
