The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eatons Aerospace Group has an opening for an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician. This position is based in Euclid, OH.The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.Position Overview:+ Install, operate and maintain heating, ventilating, dust collection, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.+ Assistance may be given other operators on proper operational procedures.+ Perform housekeeping and other job related duties as assigned by Supervisor.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Work with fans, filters, motors, compressors, blowers, dust collectors, thermostats, coils, regulators, electronic dust inhibitors, and other equipment and parts associated with air conditioning, ventilating, refrigeration and heating units.+ Work with pneumatic controls operation and repair procedures.+ Make regular inspections, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of units or parts.+ Direct specialists and laborers in the maintenance, adjustment, cleaning and repair of devices which require routine servicing, dismantling and rebuilding.+ Keep a regular check of atmospheric conditions outside the plant and compensate indoor conditions by adjustments to equipment controls and ventilators.+ Maintain various records relative to equipment performance, operating conditions, and service data.+ Maintain current EPA universal refrigerant technician certification.+ Perform work in other trades as directed. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning certificate from an accredited technical school or 4-year HVAC apprenticeship required.+ EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification is required.+ Refrigerant Certification is required.+ Minimum (2) two full-time years in commercial/industrial HVAC experience.+ Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided.+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Position Criteria:+ Must be able to use basic electrical, pressure, temperature and humidity meters.+ Must be able to perform soldering and brazing operations using air acetylene or oxy acetylene torch equipment.+ Demonstrate ability to interpret air conditioning schematics.+ Familiarity with computerized building management systems.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
