Overview: Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Production Control (PC) Lead under the direction of the PC Supervisor. Participates in the scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and customer mission requirements. Plans, schedules, and streamlines all scheduled maintenance actions to afford Vinnell Arabia and MNG Aviation Command maximum flexibility with aircraft availability and readiness. Streamlines work processes to reduce maintenance cycle time while improving aircraft maintenance operations and readiness. Trains selected MNG Aviation Command personnel to develop and maintain an effective PC management system and conduct effective PC operations. Produces daily status and other readiness reports as required. Ensures that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.

Duties/Responsibilities: Establishes daily maintenance organizational goals, objectives, and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates. Reports inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities to the QC Supervisor. Conducts daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions. Coordinates maintenance training activities and requirements with the Training Lead. Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner. Responsible for coordinating with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, warranties and downed aircraft recovery team (DART) activities. Ensures all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner. Completes all aircraft and daily status reports IAW AR 700-138. Other tasks as directed by the PC Supervisor. Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities. Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: 5 years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance. 5 years’ experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.

Specific knowledge, skill, and ability: Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainer’s course or civilian equivalent training and experience. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation. Proficient in MS Office software. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. Possess a valid driver’s license. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire. Desired/Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience: Associate degree. AH-64, OH-58D, MD-530, and AH-6i maintenance experience. 5 years Supervisory experience in aviation maintenance. 2 years’ experience as a Production Control Clerk.
