SAP and Digital Controllership Transformation Senior Consultant

Work you'll do

• Lead ERP financial system implementation and system testing
• Application of SAP FI, CO, FM functional expertise to improve the performance of the business
• Work with Deloitte team and government leaders, product owners, and end-users to understand current state business processes, develop future state processes with next generation systems/applications, delivery training, risk management, and successfully support end-user adoption
• Advise our clients on technical accounting and internal controls matters
• Actively participate in development of business and vendor relationships
• Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
• Participate in pre-sales, proposal, and RFP initiatives
• Manage project(s) financials including development of financial plans
• Provide counseling & coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business, finance or another business-related field

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Experience with SAP or Oracle-based ERP financial system implementations

• Travel up to 15%

• 2+ years of finance transformation, process improvement, and reconciliation experience

• 2+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience

• Experience mentoring and coaching others

Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
