• Acting as the lead, interfacing between clients and our Deloitte teams
• Helping to create testing solutions to meet clients' business needs
• Leading the testing of our custom technology solutions

At Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Application Modernization & Innovation consultants leverage the best of innovative technology, people, and delivery approaches to help our clients dream, explore, build, and optimize their future. The AMI practice delivers end-to-end technology solutions to enable and improve our clients' core business operations. AM&I is composed of three different areas- Service Delivery & Business Design, Application Modernization & Migration and Quality Engineering.

Digital and Enterprise Testing Senior Consultants should have the following skills and experience:

  • 4 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • At least 2 years of experience with defining the testing strategy for large scale programs and ensuring requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle and leading testing efforts, including experience with all phases of testing: System Integration, User Acceptance, and Performance Testing
  • At least 2 years of experience driving the quality assurance processes and gaining delivery buy-in from executive leadership
  • At least 2 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the following: client server, service-oriented architecture, web-based, mainframe-based and three-tier architectures
  • Experience with SAP Modules
  • Experience with the following: MicroFocus UFT, Rational Tooling, and Open Source Automation Tools (ex: Selenium, Cucumber, OpSoapUI, PostMan, RESTAssured, Mockito)
  • Experience with Workday and its associated modules
  • Experience with one of the following CRM platforms (SAP CRM, Oracle, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Experience with Test & Defect Management tools - MicroFocus ALM, JIRA
  • Experience with Source Control Systems - SVN or GIT
  • Experience with Build tools - Maven, CircleCI
  • Experience in CI/CD/CT tools - Jenkins, Bamboo, Quickbuild
  • Experience in Cloud web and mobile testing platforms - SauceLabs, Browserstack
  • Travel up to 80% (While 80% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Limited Immigration sponsorship maybe available

In addition, successful Senior Consultants will have the following preferred background:

  • Experience in eCommerce Domain
  • A deep understanding on Cloud SAP applications (Hybris, Ariba, IBP, SuccessFactors)
  • A deep understanding of Digital Asset/Content Management and Governance processes and tools
  • Experience with HTML/CSS and Search Engine optimization (SEO) fundamentals
  • Eagerness to mentor and grow junior staff
  • Testing Techniques - Understand the various approaches used in testing, including (e.g. desk checking), white-box (logic drive), black-box (requirements driven), load testing, coverage testing and regression testing.
  • Technical expertise in implementing industry standard testing methodology and tools
  • Experience implementing testing best practices specific to the test planning and execution processes and gaining buy-in for changes from executives
  • A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science or a related discipline)
