And, while we’re proud of that fact, in this world of digital and technological transformation, we must ask ourselves this: how can we continue to improve and extend even more people’s lives? <br>The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for keeping GMP records of all materials and products received, stocked and shipped at the Indianapolis manufacturing facility. <br>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>• Accurate and timely data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions.<br>• Coordination of shipping, receiving, storage and processing of goods including but not limited to perform-ing periodic inventory counts and reconciliation of discrepancies and staging of material for production purposes. <br>• Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment and transfer of material to proper storage areas. <br>• Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy<br>• Actively participate and support all site and team projects and initiatives, including cross functional team projects to create Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Training and other tasks.<br>• Ability to operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.<br>• Act in accordance with Novartis values and behaviors.<br>• Complete applicable required job specific training, cGMP, HS&E, Dangerous Goods, etc.<br>• Support the ordering and maintaining inventory of warehouse supplies in conjunction with supply chain.<br>• Coordinate the pickup and destruction of both Non-hazardous waste and hazardous waste.<br>• Utilize computer systems to reconcile and track materials: MS Dynamics 365, UPS, FedEx, etc. <br>• Able to lift 60 pounds<br><br>Team Support<br>• Desire to work together to achieve a common goal. <br>• Observe all safety requirements (OSHA, NJDEP), GMP regulations (FDA), and housekeeping practices while performing duties.<br>• Understand and monitor adherence to established Key Performance Indicators to ensure optimum performance.<br>• Ability to prioritize and respond to business needs.<br>• Ability to adapt and learn new and complex equipment and systems.<br><br>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhJ9KXNWhEI<br>
