Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Architecting and Delivering the data ingestion/integration capabilities and reusable components to enable solution development teams to ingest and integrate the data in an industrialized way.

  • Collaborate with the data solution architects to design effective solution architecture for data products.

  • Accountable to the solution architects for the quality of all data integration deliverables.

  • Works collaboratively with various platforms and competencies that promote the purpose of Enterprise Integration and influence their roadmaps to address current and emerging information of Data Integration/Ingestion capabilities.

  • Works to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide decisions in alignment with strategic IT and enterprise goals.

  • Lead by example – Always ready, willing, and able to roll your sleeves and write code, debug and do what it takes for delivering high-quality and scalable products.

  • Ability to influence others and drive cross-functional planning, collaboration, and coordinate execution of highly complex technology-driven initiatives.

  • Ability to work with distributed/remote teams.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (Prefer in IT, Engineering, Computer Science).

Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of experience with Enterprise Data teams.

  • 4 + years of working experience with enterprise data architecture in a cloud environment.

  • 3 + years of work experience utilizing AWS cloud deployment & integration and data engineering.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Databricks.

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and release management techniques.

  • Creative, innovative, self-motivated, apply problem-solving skills (thinks outside of the box) and systems thinking skills.

  • Ability to lead a development and platform team of diverse skill sets to include cloud, data, application, and integration in a high-pressure environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.

  • 4 + years of working knowledge with various compute and storage services on AWS.

  • 2 + years of working experience utilizing Python or Apache Spark.

  • Understanding of DevOps / DevSecOps processes and related tools including, but not limited to Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Git / Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.

  • Understanding application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools.
