The Associate Director, Identity Governance and Administration role is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and orchestrating user Identity and Access control services at Bristol-Myers Squibb. These services provide controls and audit trails that ensures compliance with corporate security policies and government regulations; they encompass multiple functions and apply to the entire global workforce of employees, consultants, and partners at BMS.

Responsibilities:

  • Govern the identity and access lifecycle with the right set of processes by balancing security needs of the organization and end user productivity.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our business stakeholders, offer guidance and provide strategic recommendations to enhance core business processes with Identity and Access management solutions. Use a risk-based approach to determine focus areas and compliance strategy.

  • Manage the Cyber Manual Provisioning team and explore process improvements via innovative methods to assist in the automation of manual tasks.

  • Align IGA services and capabilities to industry best practices and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Work with Global Quality Assurance and IT Quality Management to develop compliance processes.

  • Work closely with HR and Workday team to develop a more advanced IGA practice.

  • Develop and maintain meaningful metrics and analytics; ensure IGA content stays up to-date.

  • Coordinate across technical teams and work closely with key stakeholders and senior leaders to drive and enhance the overall IGA strategy.

Position Requirements:

  • 10+ Years’ experience in Information technology and/or identity and access management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent experience.

  • Practical hands-on experience with IGA tools such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, and experience working in Cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to form strong relationships within a matrix organization.

  • Respond positively and effectively in demanding situations; thrive in high intensity level environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop others through teaching and mentoring.
