Job Description:

Deliver consistent hands-on training to maintenance associates, particularly Customer Service Representatives, Technicians and maintenance support/supervisory staff as assigned by your manager. Effective training and active coaching will lead to an effective and productive Maintenance operation with highly engaged associates who deliver exceptional customer service. Proper delivery of onboarding activities related to maintenance processes, procedures, tools and systems as well as related safety and environmental compliance training. Provide proficiency assessments and shoulder-to-shoulder coaching for maintenance support/supervisory staff as aligned to corporate Maintenance Supervisor Training and other functional training for maintenance leadership training support. Post-training provide insight to local management on additional skill development training needed to drive longer term impact on the maintenance operations of the location. We are looking for several qualified candidates who are interested in a 2-3 year rotational role and who have 7 years experience as a maintenance supervisor or other maintenance support positions within the heavy-duty trucking industry. Qualified candidates will need to exhibit a proven track record in the functional expertise and application of maintenance policies, systems and processes. This position requires 75% travel and exceptional communication and coaching/training skills, process driven, and the ability to create a learning environment that embodies the Penske culture and transforms learning to application.
