Parts Specialist
Overview: Maintains the front office by answering the phones, greeting vendors and customers, ordering and receiving inventory and special order parts, as well as various other administrative duties conducive to organizing and maintaining the Parts Department.
Parts Specialist Job Duties:
- Pull parts from parts room for mechanics
- Ensure service trucks are fully stocked
- Maintain parts inventory min/max levels
- Order vehicle specific parts from vendors
- Ensure workorders have the correct parts billed
- Accurately receive parts in inventory system
- Ability to price shop with multiple vendors
Skills/Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask, attention to detail, good organization skills, proficient in Office Suite and web-based applications, ability to lift and move heavy objects exceeding 50lbs, good oral and written communication skills, must have dependable transportation to and from work, report for shift on time, High School Diploma or equivalent, valid Driver’s License, job knowledge
