Manager - Investment Officer, Finance & Administration

Deloitte Investment Office (Treasury): Investment analysis, management, and oversight of Deloitte/DTTS firms' investment portfolios - overall investment project management, external adviser/consultant liaison, and leadership reporting.

Support Deloitte's Chief Investment Officer and team responsible for providing investment guidance, strategy and recommendations to Deloitte Retirement Committee, DTTS Retirement Committee, Board of the Deloitte Foundation (collectively, "Governance Committees"), and Deloitte/DTTS Management. Assist with the development and delivery of periodic investment reports and insights to the Governance Committees and Management and conduct ongoing investment due diligence, oversight, and coordination of external investment advisors/consultants and underlying investments.
Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day investment oversight and monitoring of ~$9bn Pension Plans to improve/maintain pension funded status & ~$20bn Defined Contribution Plans (401k & Profit-Sharing Plans) to offer ~100k colleagues a lineup of high-conviction, diversified retirement investment options
• Facilitate investment strategy studies and partner with third-party specialists on investment Portfolios' design and optimization initiatives
• Provide ongoing investment oversight and analysis of Portfolios and underlying investments, including monitoring net of fee returns, risk and/or and reviewing most recent documentation for Portfolios' investments
• Conduct investment due diligence at investment advisers/consultants and underlying investment managers for consideration in the retirement programs
• Coordinate with internal/external ERISA counsel to monitor industry trends and ensure regulatory compliance
• Work with the applicable investment advisers/consultants to carry out responsibilities for risk measurement, monitoring, and management of performance results
• Develop updates and analysis for Governance Committees and Management, including but not limited to investment research, performance of the Plans' underlying strategies, and investment policies
• Serve as Chair of working groups developed to conduct special projects related to the Plans
• Coordinate with Deloitte's National Office of Independence and other parties involved with the financial management and investment of the Plans' assets
• Periodically, conduct and report the results of an evaluation of the Investment Advisers'/consultants' performance
• Assist with the build-out and customization of investment due diligence tracking tool
• Monitor industry trends to help inform any potential changes to investment objectives or strategy

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business or related field is required
• Minimum of 6+ years of investment experience with a focus on pension and defined contribution plan design/strategy
• Experience working on behalf of an Investment/Retirement Committee and/or Treasury function
• Previous experience conducting due diligence assessments of third-party investment managers on behalf of a Plan Administrator
• Strong client management and consulting experience
• Previous experience working within the professional services industry with a focus on investment management
• Master's Degree and/or CFA Certification desirable, though not required
