Location: 1301 Avenue of the Americas - New York, New York 10019 The Family Office Director is a senior advisor that exclusively works with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) families with a net-worth of greater than $25MM. This role serves as the primary point of contact for UHNW families and manages the day to day services and team interactions. The role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all family wealth services and ensures the client receives an industry leading family office experience. The Family Office Director: • Works with the Family Strategist to develop the annual client relationship plan and coordinates the entire team to ensure the execution of the plan • Owns the execution of service strategy and overall client experience for uhnw families • Owns the implementation of the Family Wealth onboarding plan • Serves as the clients’ primary point of contact for all service related activities • Manages and coordinates the activities of the service team including the Investment Consultant, Portfolio Manager, Fiduciary Director, Wealth Consultant, Regional Planning Strategist, and Relationship Manager • Engages the family’s outside advisors • Coordinates the client discovery conversations and establishes client goals in coordination with the Family Strategist • Develops and maintains ongoing Wealth Issues Reviews and Wealth Roadmap for assigned clients • Works with the Wealth Consultant and Regional Planning Strategist in building client financial plans • Co-facilitates the Family Wealth Legacy Day’s and develops custom strategies to prepare the next generation • Helps to structure and participates in clients’ annual family meetings • Retains and deepens client relationships with high level personal attention • Has a command of the Family Wealth value proposition and family office capabilities ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Client Servicing and Retention • Responsible for the overall execution of the client experience while partnering closely with the Family Strategist to provide the level of service clients expect from a leading family office • Leads, coordinates, and assembles the advisory team in the delivery of all Family Wealth services • Responsible for retaining and deepening the relationship with a client including the next generation • Responsible for a proactive communication plan for each family • Delivers distinctive service by completing annual relationship reviews with all assigned clients, consistently updates the tools with current client data, call summaries, etc. • Accountable for management of book of business in Salesforce (house holding, client profile updates, contact management, task management) • Employs and maintains a disciplined approach to client review process using designated tracking tools to document progress on implementation of client strategies. • Responsible for the execution of the client strategic plan Advisory • Develops a deep knowledge of our Family Wealth client’s entire financial and family situation. • Develops a comprehensive understanding of client’s needs, based on the review and analysis of personal and business financial data gathered through Relationship Reviews, Client Insights and Internal Partners. • Works closely with the Family Wealth Consultant and Regional Planning Strategist ensuring there are comprehensive tax, estate, and planning strategies for each member of the family. • Prepares and delivers client presentations, individually and as part of a team, presenting appropriate solutions via consultative review and proactive contact • Establish a level of trust and confidence with Family Wealth clients while navigating into the trusted advisor position Sales • Works closely with the Family Strategist to identify and prioritize opportunities to deepen relationships • Seek to increase revenue through new services and products • Reviews client based on complexity and service required and addresses changes to fees to improve profitability COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $160,000.00 to $300,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
