As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, the Lead Corporate Strategy Analyst will work closely with other Corporate Strategy members, Executives, and Business Leaders across KeyCorp in strategy development/strategic planning activities and M&A transaction identification, evaluation, and execution. The Lead Corporate Strategy Analyst will partner with the Corporate Strategy Analysts and Sr. Analysts of the Corporate Strategy team to support the strategy and business development needs of KeyCorp and all of its principal business units.
Success criteria include:
Demonstrated understanding of KeyCorp and its various business units, including ability to offer proactive, insightful thinking regarding strategy and M&A opportunities to the Company’s business leadership;
Ability to analyze and synthesize internal and external data to provide competitive intelligence and benchmarking to KeyCorp executives.
Strong analytical and business acumen with solid communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to work across the breadth of KeyCorp -- horizontally and vertically;
Transaction-oriented skillset, including ability to lead internal M&A modeling, diligence, and execution activities.
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting or related field)
2-4 years of strategy experience, preferably with exposure to banking
Strong financial acumen
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Must be willing to relocate to Cleveland, OH
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $80,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
