As an Alaska Native Corporation(ANC), 100% of our companys profits go back to our 14,300 Iupiat shareholdersthat have resided near and above the Arctic Circle for more than 10,000 years.Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival ofa culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Job Summary:**The Project Manager will be dedicated to themanagement of all aspects of maintenance and operation support services andensures compliance for all contract operations for the Rock Island BaseOperations Support Services contract.**Responsibilities:**+ Establishes policies and procedures for performance andcontrol of all project business management functions and technical support.+ Ensures quality standards are applied to all levels of thework and measured for effectiveness.+ Has overall responsibility for Quality Control and Safety onthe project. Participates in quality defects investigations and development ofresolutions (corrective and preventive).+ Monitors performance of functional managers/supervisors andsubmissions of required reports and Contract Data Requirements List.+ Prompt resolution of issues associated with performance.+ Leads the workforce in implementing partnering withcustomers to continuously improve performance and business relations.+ Serves as principal liaison between the company and U.S Armystakeholders on the contract.+ Directs and approves contract modifications, approvesbudgets, monitors contractual performance and costs, and takes action tocorrect discrepant conditions. Has overall responsibility for P&L of thecontract.+ Maintains working knowledge of requisite business systems asthey relate to the contract, including ability to implement future programs.+ Provides guidance and direction to finance and accounting,human resources, training, security, safety, and environmental.+ Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internaland external stakeholders concerning specific project operations.+ Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities notspecifically outlined herein but which are logically and properly inherent tothe position.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ BaccalaureateDegree from an accredited College or University+ Five (5) years of experience in facilities maintenancemanagement or a contract similar in scope and breadth to this requirement+ Five (5) years of experience with regulatory compliance,including OSHA, EPA and FAR+ Developed supervisory skills with proven ability to directcustomer focused teams providing maintenance, and facility alterations andrepair services+ Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project+ Experience with General Fund Enterprise Business Systems(GFEBS) software a strength+ Experience with RS Means cost estimating software is astrength+ Proven ability to manage and coordinate activities of staffengaged in planning and scheduling of maintenance and repair work+ Knowledge of physical plant management including exposure tobuilding systems, HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical**Desired Qualifications:**+ Masters Degree in Business Administration desired+ Registered Professional Engineer (PE) desired**Working Conditions Office**Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reachingwith hands and arms, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance,along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus);occasional walking; standing for up to 4 hours; occasional lifting of up to 25pounds. Potential prolonged walking/standing, repeatedpushing/pulling.Ability to perform medium to very heavy work, exerting up to100 pounds of force occasionally, non-repetitive, up to 50 pounds of forcefrequently (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usageof a two person buddy system), and/or more than 20 pounds of forceconstantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering,carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping,reaching.Potential for prolonged driving of or riding in a motorvehicle, machine operation, and/or working around moving equipment/machinery ormotorized vehicles (such as but not limited to car, truck, golf cart, gator,heavy equipment).Environmental conditions may include weather or temperatureextremes, inclement weather (such as but not limited to wind, rain, excessiveheat, excessive cold, snow/ice, etc.)May be required to operate company vehicle during the courseof work.
