Eatons Aerospaces Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Product Sales Manager to join our team.The Product Sales Manager is responsible for:Developing growth strategies and lead new business capture pursuits for a portfolio of product lines within the Fuel Systems business. Reporting to the Product Line Director, the Product Sales Manager will be responsible for managing new OEM program opportunities from opportunity qualification through capture, proposal, and award. These activities include opportunity pipeline management, early customer engagement activities, complex technical selling, developing bid strategies, leading business cases and gate reviews, and overall leadership of proposals from RFI / RFP through contract negotiation and award. The position is an individual contributor role but will be hands on and will involve cross functional leadership.In this role you will:+ Build and manage a healthy new business development pipeline for a portfolio of product lines+ Perform market analysis, identify opportunities, and monitor competitor activity for each capture+ Manage early customer engagement activities, assess needs and goals, and provide solutions that align with Eatons product strategies by influencing requirements in advance of RFPs+ Develop optimal win strategies to capture new business on OEM platforms, which may include evaluating teaming and partnership strategies+ Lead multi-site capture efforts ranging from both small and large, complex fuel systems opportunities+ Provide VOC input and recommends investment strategies for early R&D+ May lead commercial readiness level activities to support new product launches+ Evaluate and recommend bid and no bid decisions+ Lead proposal management activities, including Gates reviews, pricing strategies, and proposal submittal. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ 10 years professional Aerospace & Defense experience+ 5 years in either marketing, business development, sales, engineering, or program management+ Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution required (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace preferred)+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:+ Master of Business Administration (MBA)+ Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry working for a Tier 1 company+ Strong product knowledge in major equipment such as pumps, valves, actuation, systems+ Experience in fuel systems preferred+ Well organized with strong project management skill set+ Strong marketing and strategic skills+ Strong communication and influencing skills+ Strong financial acumen and prior experience developing business cases+ Experience working on bid & proposals including government procurement contractsWe make what matters work.
