Eatons North American Sales division is currently seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to join our team.The HR Manager is responsible for:Leading, and managing human resource strategies to support the North American Sales and Marketing and Commercial Organizations strategic and operating plans. Driving corporate and divisional initiatives through regions / sales verticals. Positively support corporate, group and division initiatives. Identify opportunities for synergy. Develop strategies for maintaining positive employee relations at all locations. Provide guidance and direction to HR and business leaders on complex business and HR issues. Coach managers to become effective leaders.In this role you will:+ Lead and manage and human resource strategies to support the strategic and operating plans of the region / sales vertical+ Use coaching, consulting and facilitation skills to influence behavior and business decisions consistent with the Eaton Leadership Model and Eaton Values+ Drive corporate and divisional initiatives.+ Identify opportunities for synergy and integration.+ Develop strategies for maintaining positive employee relations at all locations.+ Provide guidance and direction to HR and business leaders on complex business and HR issues.+ Effectively use assessment tools (such as the Employee Survey, OAD, etc) to determine organizational issues and identify problems.+ Ensure local practices align with the Eaton Philosophy.+ Have working knowledge of various state employment-related regulations.+ Foster of culture conducive to Eatons Philosophy.This role needs to be based in the Central region (states in the Central region include: Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, South and North Dakota).Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors Degree in related field from an accredited institution required+ 5 years of experience in HR management.Preferred Qualifications:+ MBA from an accredited institution preferred+ Strong competency in Leadership Style+ Experience in BOC+ Strong ability to influence and managerial courage+ Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.+ Excellent facilitation / coaching skills.+ Well-developed PC skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access.+ Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.+ Solid understanding of local country regulations and standards.We make what matters work.
