We are currently seeking an SAP Operations & Supply Chain Practice Manager to join our Product Operations Center of Excellence (PROCOE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. If the candidate resides more than 50 miles away from Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate will work from a remote Eaton facility or an approved home office.The SAP Operations & Supply Chain Practice Manager is responsible for leading the solution construction, deployment, support, integrity and ongoing management of Eatons global SAP ERP system, leveraged globally, focused on the manufacturing operations, supply chain, material management, warehousing, distribution/logistics, and quality management value stream processes, to automate the business processes from order planning to delivery of goods for all Eaton business groups in the Americas region with global coordination of best practices with peers globally. The individual will lead a diverse team of functional process analysts while partnering with sector business leads and IT relationship managers (BRMs) to deliver a comprehensive application platform that aligns with business processes and offers both a high degree of usability, and is aligned with Eatons IT strategy.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this role:+ You will provide strategic alignment between IT and the operations/functions across the Enterprise (Corporate, Industrial and Electrical Sectors).+ You will have the unique ability to put yourself in the shoes of the operational or function leadership to solve their business problems, and have the ability to establish appropriate relationships to proactively influence and effect changes in Eaton operations.+ You will understand key priorities and strategic initiatives of the operations/function in order to identify the appropriate use of technology and supported processes within operations to meet the strategic objectives, align opportunities or projects across the business and to drive the prioritization and resource allocation within the IT project portfolio.+ You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels and across multiple functions.+ You will communicate frequently with Internal and external customers at a senior level (plant managers, functional leadership, directors, etc).+ You will communicate and reinforce project status, prioritization and timing back to the organization including the communication of critical success measures, issues, and mitigation strategies.+ You will be accountable for project delivery and overall customer satisfaction with a focus on the finance and controlling value streams.+ You will build strong working relationships with senior IT management and vice presidents of finance across the sectors and corporate functions.+ You will recommend, manage, and deploy technical solutions supporting a global user base of more than 20,000 employees across Eaton+ You will be current on leading tools, techniques, and trends that should be adopted by Eatons business operations.+ You will have proficient cross functional knowledge of multiple process areas and the linkages between them while demonstrating process knowledge in manufacturing, supply chain, and materials, streams and their implications on financial processes+ You will support the delivery of large, complex projects - often in parallel.+ You will provide coaching and mentorship to functional analysts, solution architects, and project managers.+ You will demonstrate the ability to flex resources to account for changes in demand.+ You will work closely with multiple business units and large groups to develop conceptual designs as well as create business and technical requirements that can be easily identified and traced.+ You will ensure solutions released by the organization have comprehensive User Acceptance Test plans based on defined requirements.+ You will build a sustainable staffing model to keep the support, system integrity and ongoing management of Eatons SAP ERP solution robust.+ You will define and execute a plan working with our Governance team to address product life cycle management+ You will actively coach and mentor plant and divisional functional leaders in effective use of tools and technologies, often in a senior consulting role.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution+ Minimum 7 years experience in ERP projects. Experience directly or indirectly managing teams.+ Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorshipPosition Criteria:+ Must have expert understanding of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations.+ Strong knowledge of end to end processes consisting of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and financial business processes, combined with project management skills, and a solid understanding of Information Technology standards.+ Able to identify best practices for applying those best practices appropriately across different businesses.+ Advanced to Expert understanding of manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes at Eaton or a prior Company;+ Intermediate to Advanced application knowledge;+ Intermediate to Advanced technical knowledge of computer hardware and software, data management, application programming, data communications, operating systems, utilities and data security;+ Advanced to Expert understanding of integration and impact points (boundary systems) of involved systems globally;+ Advanced to SME understanding of some of Eaton key application(s) and/or IT Infrastructure;+ Advanced understanding of technology stack and architecture required to support target system (SAP)Preferred Qualifications+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Engineering or Business equivalentEaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $128,640- $176,880 a year. Eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 21% of base salary.We make what matters work.
