Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a Manager, Global Materials System Implementation to join our team. This position will be based in our Beachwood, OH facility. Relocation is provided.Position Overview:Our supply chain management team creates bottom-line impact by driving cost management and operational benefits. Within our supply chain, the Manager, Global Materials System Implementation will help drive the Materials Management roadmap creation by leading the implementation of key transformation initiatives across Eaton businesses and regions.Reporting to the Director of Global Materials Programs, this role will work across functions, businesses and regions to select, prioritize and implement transformation initiatives that drive value creation across our Supply Chain. This person will be accountable to the Global Materials Council (GMC) in ensuring we develop the "best-in-class" systems & tolls roadmap to obtain the aspirational goals defined by the Eaton Materials Strategy. The main focus will be in the fields of SIOP and Inventory Management including Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Supplier Collaboration, aiming to deliver a step change in our customer experience, inventory performance and inefficiencies/leakages mitigation (measured in OTD, DOH, Premium Freight, E&O, etc.).Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this function you will:+ Work directly with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand business objectives, identify process & system requirements, opportunities for improvement, and formulate strategies, solutions and a pipeline of global projects in line with the Materials Strategy that will yield value.+ Lead the Supply Planning & Supplier Collaboration initiative by establishing a clear, robust next gen solution (processes and tools) in close partnership with IT and the businesses that enables us to fundamentally alter our network planning and supplier relationships to be holistic oriented, real time based, more "partnership" like, where we fluidly share forecasts, capacities, objectives and constraints.+ Act as change agent for key Materials initiatives across businesses and regions, by providing effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered through applying innovative solutions and leveraging standardized processes, tools, best practice sharing across teams, and mainly through benchmark systems & tools externally (ensuring we are consistently abreast considering the latest developments in materials for value creation at Eaton).+ Develop, manage & prioritize a pipeline of global projects (Transformation Initiatives): scope projects, identify resource and investment requirements, articulate deliverables, develop timelines, calculate benefits, present business case, and manage implementation.+ Lead program management activities for related Materials projects by identifying key stakeholders, establishing project plans, developing communication strategies, ensuring sign-off on all major deliverables by stakeholders. and monitoring progress toward goals+ Facilitate alignment between the IT Organization (through the Materials IT BRM), the Materials Function and the Businesses (through the GMC).+ Manage third party suppliers.+ Provide Materials functional expertise and leverage the GSC CoE Materials Team (200+ associates), and support developing organizational expertise through VSMs, BPI workshops, Materials Management academy, etc.+ Develop and maintain basic standardized ERP / Tools training for the initiatives being developed, so all materials and operations professionals can be familiar with the standard ERP toolbox, how to apply, and where to go for instructions and training.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsBasic Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution+ Minimum of 7 years professional experience in Supply Chain or Operations+ Minimum 5 years Project Management experience+ Minimum 3 years experience in successfully leading major enterprise IT implementations in Supply Chain, ERP or manufacturing shop floor transformations, in large, multi-national organizations+ Must be legally eligible to work in the United States on an on-going basis without Company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications+ Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering from an accredited institution+ Minimum 3 years supply chain experience with increasing size and complexity across multiple specialties including SIOP, purchasing, logistics, procurement, and materials managementPosition Criteria+ Working knowledge on ERP/MRP systems and support systems (BI, ERP Heath Monitor)+ Advanced understanding on SIOP driven Materials Management, including forecasting, planning, scheduling, capacity analysis and inventory management+ Advanced understanding of business analytics and basic knowledge of supply chain modeling methodologies+ APICS CPIM Certification qualification or commitment to complete equivalent+ Advanced functional and application knowledge with Supply Chain Management applications (Demantra, CRP, SCP, APS, IBP, Ariba) and/or shop floor applications (WMS, MES, OEE, Quality)+ Ability to get results in complex operations (multiple businesses, ERPs, distributed footprint, etc.).+ Strong project management skills and ability to lead workshops+ Demonstrated ability in Lean/6Sigma and process improvement methodologies+ Global perspective and ability to adapt to different cultures (regional differences, functional specificities)+ Ability to build strong networks across the organization to achieve best possible results+ Effectively drive change while dealing with ambiguity+ The position involves use of core project management skills including Communications Management, Change Management Critical Path and Risk Management.+ The qualified candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate analysis and issue resolution across multiple business groups.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
