The Eaton IT Product Operations PMO group has an exciting senior project management position available. This role is responsible for leading large, complex, high-value, transformational ERP implementation projects often impacting regional or global operations. In this highly visible role, you have a great opportunity to make a significant and positive impact. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. If the candidate resides more than 50 miles away from Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate will work from a remote Eaton facility or an approved home office.The Principal, IT ERP Project Manager will plan, control and execute project requirements following Eaton-prescribed process (ProLaunch and PMBOK) to ensure business objectives are met. The Principal will partner with Resource Managers to staff projects and clearly articulate project team roles both functional and technical. Responsible for developing and managing detailed project plans (with clear critical path) and budgets. The Principal will manage the scope/requirements and ensure all agreed to deliverables are met while mitigating risks through robust plans. Responsible for organizational communication, training, adoption and change management. In this role:+ You will provide project leadership by adhering to standard departmental policies, processes and documentation guidelines for project delivery+ You will work with customers and technical resources in developing project plans, work breakdown structures, critical path and detailed costs+ You will perform risk management planning, risk identification and mitigation planning+ You will develop communication strategies and leading communications with senior executives, mid-level or first line leaders and key stakeholders globally+ You will drive process change and organization change management+ You will ensure sign-off on all major system deliverables by stakeholders+ You will monitor and report on schedule and budget variances+ You will ensure quality delivery of team member tasks in accordance to the plan+ You will manage third party suppliers.When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees. The annual salary range for this role is $128,000 - $176,000 a year and is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive plan with a target at 21% of base salary QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution+ Minimum of 10 years Project Management experience.+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.Preferred Qualifications:+ Masters Degree+ PMP certificatePosition Criteria:+ Prior management experience successfully leading ERP system implementations, preferably in large, multi-national organizations.+ Experience leading large ERP Implementation cutover and deployment required.+ Advanced to SME understanding of some of Eaton or prior company key application(s) and/or IT Infrastructure.+ Advanced to SME understanding of integration and impact points of involved systems globally for a division or function.+ Intermediate technical knowledge and solid understanding of computer hardware and software, data management, application programming, data communications, operating systems, utilities and data security.Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world.
