Global Procurement Brand Manager, GTS-TSS

If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for managing the relationship between global procurement and the Global Technology Services - TSS organization. The GTS spend through procurement is approximately $2 billion. GTS-TSS is one of the largest clients of global procurement. The global PBM is responsible for assuring that global procurement is delivering procurement services to GTS-TSS with excellence and effectiveness.The Global PBM is responsible for administering a management system which focuses on GTS-TSS primary deliverable from procurement, cost take out (CTO), Each relevant commodity, IOT, and time period (quarterly) has a CTO target based on the fall plan or its various updates and challenges. The global PBM organizes and orchestrates this management system which operates on a regular cadence.The global PBM leads regular reviews of CTO performance against plans and challenges. These high-level executive reviews are a critical aspect of the Procurement management system. The global PBM interfaces with each of the Procurement category leaders and geography leaders to understand the data, drive actions to achieve objectives, understand gaps to plan, assures that recovery plans are in place, and follow ups are actioned and resolved.The global PBM facilitates communication and action around category and geography initiatives. Each category develops initiative roadmap with associated savings that will lead to achievement of the plan. The roadmaps are reviewed and agreed with the client. Each category lead has direct linkage with their counterpart in GTS-TSS and the PBM assures these contacts are made, maintained, and effective. The PBM works to resolve any issues and concerns between principals in GTS-TSS and Procurement with a high degree of client support and satisfaction.The ability to understand IBM's Services business, it's priorities and dynamics, its matrix structure and the competing forces within are essential. The ability to communicate with effectiveness at the senior executive level is a major requirement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general procurement and have led procurement workstreams and organizations successfully.Previous experience as a PBM will be a major advantage.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Minimum of 10 years IBM Procurement Experience.+ Must have Strategic Sourcing experience.+ Management experience, multiple category experience, stakeholder management experience.+ Must be able to accommodate Eastern Standard Time (EST).Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Previous experience as a PBM will be a major advantage.+ NoneAbout Business UnitIBM Global Procurement has the responsibility for achieving the best overall value for IBM and our clients when acquiring or contracting goods, services, and intellectual property assets.
