If being the CEO of your offering excites you, consider an offering management career at IBM.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Cloud Offering Management team is looking to add a Cloud Enterprise Offering Manager with architecture background to the team. This position will augment the end-to-end solution expertise to enhance our portfolio of Enterprise-grade solutions. This role will work alongside Network, Security, Data, Analytics & Machine Learning offering teams to help build repeatable cross-portfolio solution patterns to ease and accelerate transformation of large enterprises to Cloud.The right candidate particularly thrives in network, security and governance aspects, and has excellent spoken and written communication skills. Key responsibilities will require an ability to assess portfolio investment from a technical and business perspective, aligned with the potential revenue opportunity. Strong offering management background and customer-facing experience are needed to hit the ground running. The role is perfect for someone with a broad mix of technical knowledge, and demonstrated background architecting products and solutions for regulated industries.Key Duties* Analyze strategic customer requirements to distill them into generalized or industry-specific application scenarios.* Monitor competitive and industry trends to better orient our portfolio strategy* Document the supported scenarios, and work with the various teams across IBM teams and provide E2E feedback as early as possible in the development cycle.* Socialize and promote utilization of the supported scenarios with our global go to market teams, seeking periodic feedback to maintain their currency.* Identify E2E portfolio gaps, recommend enhancements and differentiation opportunities across our IBM Cloud portfolio to improve user experience and facilitate adoption and transformation.* Track development and global availability of portfolio enhancements.Required Technical and Professional Expertise* 5+ years of experience as offering management, Cloud Architect or Engineering role in Networking, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development* High-level understanding of Cloud infrastructure & industry transformation* Strong business acumen* Hands-on experience with CloudPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise* Product management background, backed with solid technical skills and hands-on experience* Excellent communication skills* Experience working with account teams and clients* Experience with IBM Cloud, AWS, GCP & Azure, particularly in multi-cloud environments* VMware* Network or Security Certification (CCNE, CISSP, or equivalent)* CI/CD and/or Deployment Automation* Experience with containers (Kubernetes)About Business UnitDigitization is accelerating the ongoing evolution of business, and clouds - public, private, and hybrid - enable companies to extend their existing infrastructure and integrate across systems.
