If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Chief Privacy Office (CPO) enables the company to comply with various privacy laws to which its subject around the world, manage data risks, and meet stakeholders' expectations as it pertains to personal information management.We are looking for a Privacy Program Manager who will be responsible for managing the controller compliance stream and set the strategy for new corporate policies and programs.The team is global, with frequent contact maintained through WebEx and Slack, creating an ideal role for candidates in a variety of locations.Responsibilities+ Responsible for the successful execution and oversight of the company's Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) program, used to support controller processing activities and assets including vendor relationship management+ Oversight and management of the company's Data Subject Rights (DSR) process and staff, ensuring data subject requests are handled on time and in line with country requirements+ Set the strategy for controller programs within the company+ Provide privacy guidance across the business on complex privacy issues and projects; foster strong relationships with business owners and management+ Manage the individuals supporting the PIA and DSR programs and balance resources as required, provide mentoring, skills enhancement and performance reviews; be able to foster a collaborative environment where there is trust and transparency with the team, stakeholders and managementRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ 3+ years management experience+ Deep privacy expertise with 5+ years supporting or leading corporate privacy programs+ Ability to navigate in a multinational corporate environment+ Confident ability to communicate in written EnglishPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CertificationAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.In October 2020, IBM announced its intention that the managed infrastructure services business of the GTS organization within IBM will become an independent company (currently known as NewCo) by the end of 2021, creating two distinct and powerful market-leading companies.
