You'll be part of an innovative team that strives to make the world work better.IBM Senior Security Manager, Government Security Programs provides leadership, guidance and functional oversight for all IBM Intelligence Community and DoD initiatives and programs.Responsibilities:+ Ensures IBM's TS/SCI, SCIF and DoD security support activities function with a singular purpose, while adhering to the principles of agility, knowledge sharing, process improvement, innovation and a collaborative team focused approach+ Responsible for communicating internally to ensure company business goals, strategy and objectives are imbedded into the security program support elements to ensure mission success.+ Provide subject matter expertise, advice, guidance and direction to IBM executives and managers in addressing and solving complex problems and issues relating to the classified programs environment+ Chairs the company's Insider Threat Program Working Group spanning all classified elements+ Collaborates with IBM Corporate Security leadership and other classified programs management to ensure established lines of communication and authority are clearly focused.You will work closely with the following teams:+ IBM Corporate Security+ Global Business Services+ Global Technology Services+ Research+ IBM Cloud+ S&D and other IBM divisions which have cleared employeesDo work that matters.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Possess a current Top Secret/SCI clearance/access with polygraph and eligibility for additional accesses as may be required.+ 15 years experience in implementing above security responsibilities and requirements+ Experience working with, and presenting to, executive level management+ Experience working in a team oriented environment with a strong emphasis on written and verbal communications skills+ Ability to mentor and guide less experienced security officers and provide timely performance feedback to all direct reports+ Working with ISMs and ISSOs, must be able to provide oversight and guidance with respect to classified information systems.+ Must be able to interact with Industrial Security partners, government security counterparts and others as required to benchmark best security practices.Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ In depth knowledge of SCIF construction, accreditation and operational requirements+ Ability to navigate, manage and work in a matrix environment+ Knowledge of cybersecurity and counterintelligence environments and new requirements as they relate to the Insider Threat ProgramUS Citizenship RequiredAbout Business UnitIBM Corporate Headquarters (CHQ) team represents a variety of functions such as marketing, finance, legal, operations, HR, and more, all working together to solve some of the world's most complex problems, help our clients achieve success and build collaborative work environments for IBMers.Your Life @ IBMWhat matters to you when you're looking for your next career challenge?Maybe you want to get involved in work that really changes the world?
