If you are ready to help our clients and project teams succeed, we would love to meet you!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Chief Information Office within IBM is currently looking for an Iteration Manager with experience working in a global agile delivery environment. This technical position will be part of a co-located squad in Research Triangle Park and accountable for supporting development teams that are creating exciting solutions that change the way both IBMers and IBM clients work.This role sits within one of many global squads in the Systems Pricing Hardware Tribe supporting a business-critical pricing application. Responsibilities include:+ Lead squad/s using full Agile methodologies and best practices. Backlog grooming and management, Iteration Planning, Sprint Execution/Leadership, Showcase and Retrospectives on the sprint cycles.+ Manage the implementation of the defect management process, including triage, development, test, and deployment.+ Analyze impact of business requirements to develop work items and deliverables (e.g. Epics, Features, Stories, etc).+ Work with the team to remove impediments blocking the progress of the project.+ Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.+ Support the Product Owner and Technical Owner, communicating updates and impediments as well as assisting with grooming and maintaining the product backlog.+ Focus on continuous improvement, innovation/automation, increased velocity to deliver+ Demonstrated organization and communication skills.This role requires knowledge and experience of various tools used within the Tribe, not limited to the following:+ Collaboration: Slack, Trello+ Issue/Ticket Management: JIRA; ServiceNow+ Source Code Management: GitHubA day in the life at IBM:+ Interact with worldwide Pricing Business Stakeholders and Pricing Technology Squads gathering requirements on enhancements, projects and/or code defects.+ Lead and participate in various Agile ceremonies with the software development squad.+ Work in an open environment where creativity and innovation is welcome and encouraged.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ 5+ years experience in project or program management+ 3+ years experience in facilitating and coaching a DevOps team in effective use of Agile Values & Principles to translate into the appropriate practices, specific to the mission of the team+ Experience in organizational transformation and agile at scale+ Experience assessing squad Agile Maturity and coaching teams toward constant self-evaluation and improvement as a sustainable pace+ Excellent communication skills in a customer/stakeholder facing environment+ Experience working with modern project planning and collaboration tools+ Ability to resolve conflict and facilitate the adoption of higher standards+ Adept at identifying and removing impediments slowing the Development team down, as well as shielding the team from external interruptions and distractionsPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience in Pricing, Fulfillment and/or Procurement+ Exposure to development of cloud-based enterprise systems with a significant number of global users+ Professional Project Management and Agile CertificationsNoneAbout Business UnitThe Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) owns IBM's IT strategy and provides the tools, workstations, devices, and infrastructure that IBMers use to do their jobs every day.
