Government Project Manager
Manages and controls the implementation of telecommunication products and related services for complex projects and programs for federal customers.Job Description * Develop project plans to document the scope, resource requirements, schedule for planned sales initiatives * Manage and control telecom product and service delivery in accordance with published schedules * Perform specific requirements for the federal government * Ensure that each project is moving in a timely manner * Schedule weekly updates with various government agencies * Interface with corporate entities and customer to provide status and activity reports * Identifies risks and escalate issues as required to ensure timely delivery of products and services in accordance with published schedule * Assist Sales and Service Management teams as requestedMinimum Requirements: College degree and 4-6 years professional level experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 8 years professional level related experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.**Primary Location:** **US-Virginia-Herndon***Job Category:** **Project Management****Requisition ID:** *21000958*Employment at Windstream is subject to post offer, pre-employment drug testing.
