Do it here.What youll be doing...The qualified candidate must have the experience and skills necessary to lead and project manage a large number of outside plant construction and engineering projects.+ Analyze problems and identify effective solutions that keep projects moving and on schedule.+ Work independently while being a great team player leading colleagues and coordinating efforts to ensure best outcomes.+ Work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments and deliver on priorities while staying focused on important deadlines.+ Maintain effective leadership while working on very demanding projects.+ Build relationships with a diverse range of people and explain complex technical issues in a way that everyone can understand.What were looking for...Youll need to have:+ Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience+ Three or more years of relevant work experience.+ Experience with leading projects and managing large scale outside plant construction and engineering projects.+ Experience in project management techniques and tools to develop project plans, prioritize, schedule and drive delivery based on objectives.+ Project management experience in fiber delivery.+ Knowledge oftasks and actions associated with outside plant fiber construction and engineering project tracking.+ Valid Drivers license.+ Willingness to travel.Even better if you have:+ Bachelors degree.+ Two or moreyears of direct PM experience managing Outside Plant projects including fiber for wireless sites.+ Experience with developing and delivering reports that clearly depict the projects status.+ Experience working with engineering and construction vendors+ Experience working fiber projects and permitting with various municipalities in the Chicagoland area.+ Able to clearly articulate issues to all working levels.+ Forward thinking to anticipate issues.+ Able to deliver formal presentations to all working levels.Equal Employment OpportunityWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees' differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status.
