Do it here.What youll be doing...This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.ResponsibilitiesMaking sure that our 5G products are available for installation in new customer homes. You will work cross functionally with our planning and distribution teams, as well as our field installation teams to ensure that our customers are able to leverage the nations best network! Youll be responsible for transformational initiatives centered on inventory management. The Field Inventory Management team works to minimize inventory levels, maximize profitability, increase working capital, maintain service levels and provide on-time delivery for a variety of products. This role will be responsible for: leading supply chain optimization efforts, developing custom solutions for large complex customers or programs, developing and implementing solutions for new product launches and utilizing data to drive decision-making. You will work to implement new inventory management tracking strategies, such as RFID and Blue Tooth or other cutting edge technologies to drive end to end inventory visibility.You will have the autonomy to develop strategies and implement processes that will have direct influence on large scale projects in support of Supply Chain optimization. This includes, but is not limited to, influencing and managing peers within and outside of the Supply Chain organization, partnering with functional business owners and IT to gather business requirements, writing the business requirements documentation, serving as key the contact for stakeholders, and identifying and driving the solution to completion. The work you do every day will have a direct impact on our customer experience by making sure we get the right product at the right time into the customers hands.Program Development and Process Improvement Act as change agent to foster a high quality culture throughout the organization and drive measurable business process improvements Lead multiple cross-functional teams charged with implementing strategic enterprise wide efficiency-driving programs Gain organizational stakeholder support (both Sr. level and throughout the operational orgs) using data driven decisions for change actions, including a clearly articulated problem statement, sound analytics supporting the change position, and a project plan to improve the process Drive comprehensive change management, ensuring successful implementation, adoption and application of new capabilities Define and implement strategies to improve the end-to-end inventory management process, with a focus on end customer deliverablesStrategic Assessment and Optimization Completes regular strategic assessment of Verizons end-to-end supply chain operational flow and processes, identifying opportunities, disconnects and gaps Work with all supply chain functional leads and counterparts to establish supply chain technology improvements in alignment with organizational and business unit strategies and objectives Responsible for consistently communicating and entrenching the benefits, policies, standards, procedures and framework for a comprehensive and alignment supply chain transformation initiativesCommunication and Engagement Collaborating and driving internal process standardization Maintain a working knowledge of supply chain, systems, material and install suppliers and best practices Analyze and communicate metrics and data methodology Program advocate chartered with building relationships to advance the program Develop communication and training packages to improve internal stakeholders understanding of end-to-end processes Executive level readoutsWhat were looking for...Must be a current participant of Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.You will need to have: Bachelors degree or 6 years of relevant work experience Supply Chain transformation experience Strong analytical and technical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skillsEven better if you have: Masters degree in relevant field: Supply Chain, Data Analytics or Engineering 10+ years of industry experience with strong competency in Supply Chain with a focus on Inventory Management End-to-end Supply Chain experience with demonstrated ability to manage inventory improvement initiatives Strong familiarity with ERP systems, Supply Chain Planning Systems, SAP Attention to detail, data accuracy and quality of output Proven program management success Strong Program and Project Management abilities Ability to apply data analytic techniques to pinpoint opportunities and design and implement strategic initiatives Development and delivery of executive communication via advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Results oriented and deadline driven Strong leadership abilities with a proven ability to engage and influence collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders Proficient in engaging and influencing large teams and functional leadersEqual Employment OpportunityWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees' differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status.
