Do it here.What youll be doing...The Corporate Social Responsibility Program Manager will be responsible for an extensive set of programs that focus on transforming teaching and learning in under-resourced schools.You will create, implement, and manage dynamic and innovative programs that leverage Verizon's solutions to help Title 1 K-12 schools adopt technologies and curriculum that increase student interest, engagement and academic achievement, specifically in STEM. The position requires in-depth knowledge of the education space including curriculum development, best practices for teacher training, implementation of initiatives in districts and schools, how best to support under-resourced students, ELL and at-risk learners, products and services currently being used to support student learning and emerging technologies that show the greatest promise for application in the future.Included in these responsibilities is accountability for monitoring key trends in the education field, identifying, vetting and selecting partners, and advancing new and innovative uses of Verizon's technology to prepare people for the workforce of the future. You may serve as an external presence and spokesperson at events highlighting Verizon's education initiatives and outcomes.+ Plan, implement, and lead programs that leverage Verizons technology, including 5G, with minimal guidance and within time and budget constraints.+ Conduct research to gain insights into market trends and concepts; lead ideation and implementation efforts for new initiatives.+ Design programs based on strategy, technology integration, population targeted, and impact expected among other variables.+ Conduct ongoing evaluation of partners and programs, including partner site visits.+ Measure effectiveness and societal impact of the programs developed; communicate impact through quantitative and qualitative data, as well as stories.+ Prepare PowerPoint presentations and other communication materials for internal and external project meetings; Present program overview, findings, results on a frequent basis to multiple stakeholders.+ Adhere to PMO standards, methodologies and procedures.+ Effectively build and manage multi-million dollar budget.+ Provide subject matter expertise as a member of various cross functional teams including Marketing, PR, Employee Engagement, Finance, and Public Policy.+ Participate in external and internal panels and events to share results of programs.What were looking for...You'll need to have:+ Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.+ Six or more years of relevant work experience in the K-12 school district space with a focus on STEM and Technology integration.+ Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.Even better if you have:+ Master's degree.+ Experience working in a program management/project management capacity.+ Strong skills in creative and strategic analysis with the ability to think out of the box.+ Ability to quickly and successfully execute on philanthropic programs and measure success.+ Ability to interact and work with diverse constituencies from philanthropic leaders, academics, grantees, policy makers, business executives, members of the media and other social sector leaders.+ Ability to prioritize, problem solve and multitask effectively.+ Excellent communications and relationship management skills including experience in presenting to and communicating with Senior Executives.Equal Employment OpportunityWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees' differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status.
