Manager of IT-Advanced Analytics

**Description:****What You Will Be Doing:**As a Penske Manager of Advanced Analytics, your main goal will be to evangelize artificial intelligence and machine learning across the organization to solve various business problems and optimize processes. You will be operationalizing and supporting various predictive models while ensuring that the accuracies stay within range. You will also be responsible for managing the cost of AI/ML Operations and provide the needed support to various business cases. You will be managing a team of machine learning and software engineers. You will be working with Analytics leaders, data analysts, and data scientists in various business groups like Marketing, Maintenance, Pricing and Finance. You will also be working closely with data engineering, data platform, product managers, Cloud engineering, and various other IT groups. You will be responsible for talent management (recruiting, onboarding and career development) in the AI/ML Ops area.This is a high impact role as the capabilities developed through this area are critical to the success of Penskes internal and external customers. This position can sit out of our corporate headquarters in Reading, PA or our IT Center in Tampa, FL.**Penske Responsibilities:**+ Work closely with various stakeholder groups and partners at mid to Sr. Management level to build and execute upon the AI/ML roadmaps+ Manage and lead enterprise wide projects and initiatives concurrently, assigned from client group leadership including other IT departments+ Ensure project completion and implementation on time, and ensure all tasks and projects are executed to department quality standards+ Lead and manage a team of machine learning engineers, software engineers and AI/ML Ops administrator to support various AI/ML projects like Predictive Maintenance+ Maintain awareness of best practices in AI/ML, AI/ML Ops, and Model API Management know how to leverage them within the organization+ Ensure that the various applications and environments are available and supported as per the SLAs agreed with the business+ Follow IT practices in security, licensing, source code management, incident management and following architectural standards+ Ensure the associates lead project scope development and options analysis in an effort to recommend technical solutions to meet customer needs+ Follow the Penske Development Process (PDP) and ensure that all information is captured on time so relevant metrics can be generated. This should include attending relevant tollgates, change control and deployment discussions+ Identify skill gap within the teams and lay out a robust plan to bridge those gaps+ Foster collaboration among associates and within work groups+ Use dashboards and metrics to properly prioritize work and ensure milestones on projects are being met**Qualifications:****Penske Qualifications:**+ Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent development experience+ 10 years of broad IT experience, including technologies such as JAVA, iSeries, WebSphere, Data Communications/Integration, Database, Hardware, ETL+ 3 years of leadership experience with responsibility of leading AI/ML engineers+ 3 years experience managing large enterprise wide programs and projects+ 2 years experience working with cloud - preferably AWS+ Strong experience with Agile / DevOps approaches or methodologies+ Expertise in AI/ML using Python, R, Scala, data science tools and methodologies, advanced quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, parametric and no-parametric statistical modeling and techniques, API Management, Micro-services, and Cloud (preferably AWS), and experience operationalizing predictive or prescriptive models+ Expertise in leading the architecture, design & implementation of AI/ML based technical solutions, including working with business leadership to establish a project/program application development roadmap+ Strong experience in presenting to mid & Senior Management. Must be able to explain complex AI/ML topics in simple terms to various stakeholders+ Demonstrated ability to break technical solutions into logical units and show information or data flow+ Full understanding of system development lifecycle, methodologies and standards+ Green Belt, Black Belt, Lean, or PMP certification preferred but not required+ Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job+ Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.**Physical Requirements:**-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
