Information Security Program Manager
The Chubb Information Security team is responsible for protecting information and information systems against unauthorized access, detecting and responding to attempts to gain access and enabling access through our identity processes. Chubb operates a global information security team supporting local business units across five regions (Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America, Japan, and Europe including the Middle East and Africa). Our global information security strategy is developed with input from each of these regions and translated into programs that are then executed by the regions using resources from each region (especially, our infrastructure partners).
Chubb is seeking a Program Manager to lead Global Information Security projects to implement, maintain, and enhance information systems, security programs, policies, procedures and tools to safeguard the security, confidentiality, integrity privacy and availability of systems, networks, and data. This position requires strong organization, project management, communication, and analysis skills.
This role requires a general and overall high-level understanding of the information security space (solid knowledge of the technologies and processes used to deliver information security, an appreciation of the compliance and regulatory drivers for information security programs globally) and program management expertise. The Information Security Program Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Programs but may also be responsible to members of the Information Security Management Team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage global security projects and other strategic security initiatives.
Drive security projects to address identified current and potential security threats and risks while delivering key security requirements, and exercise adherence to security policies and procedures.
Provide a focus on developing repeatable, scalable, efficient, and effective processes.
Ensure process improvement within assigned security projects where applicable
Collaborate with other organizations within IT (Infrastructure, AppDev, Digital, etc) at the project level to ensure clear communication within initiatives
Ensure all entities are aware of their responsibilities and the expected outcomes of security projects.
Capture and regularly report assigned project progress and status to the respective Management Teams
Travel as needed.
