Work You'll Do

DRIVING BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION & ON-GOING OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE FULL SUITE OF ORACLE SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS. MANAGING DAY-TO-DAY INTERACTIONS WITH EXECUTIVE CLIENTS & SPONSORS. MANAGING & DELIVERING COMPONENTS OF CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS THAT IDENTIFY, DESIGN, & IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY & CREATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS FOR LARGE COMPANIES. MANAGING TEAMS IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, FUNCTIONAL DESIGN, PROCESS DESIGN (INCLUDING SCENARIO DESIGN, FLOW MAPPING), PROTOTYPING, TESTING, TRAINING, DEFINING SUPPORT PROCEDURES. PARTICIPATING & LEADING ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS. CONTRIBUTING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. PERFORMING ROLE OF COUNSELOR & COACH; ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN STAFF RECRUITMENT & RETENTION ACTIVITIES. PROVIDING LEADERSHIP & SUPPORTING FOR DELIVERY TEAMS & STAFF IN LOCAL OFFICES. PERFORMING ASSESSMENTS OF EXISTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS, & IDENTIFYING GAPS BETWEEN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND CURRENT SYSTEM CAPABILITIES. ESTIMATING TIME AND RESOURCES NEEDED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT WORK. FUNCTIONING AS INTEGRATOR BETWEEN BUSINESS NEEDS AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, HELPING TO CREATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS TO MEET CLIENTS' BUSINESS NEEDS. DEFINING SYSTEMS STRATEGY, DEVELOPING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, PROCESSING DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, & TESTING CUSTOM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, & SUPPORTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION. CREATING PROJECT CHARTERS, SCHEDULES, & PLANS, DEFINING PROJECT TASKS, ALLOCATING RESOURCES AND MONITOR PROJECT PROGRESS. WRITING FUNCTIONAL AND TECHNICAL SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND USE CASES, CREATING PROCESS FLOW DIAGRAMS AND FINALIZING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS. PERFORMING CONCEPTUAL AND TECHNICAL DESIGNS, INCLUDING THE USE OF OBJECT-ORIENTED ANALYSIS AND DESIGN TECHNIQUES. TRACKING APPLICATION DEFECTS USING DEFECT TRACKING TOOLS, COORDINATING DEFECT RESOLUTION EFFORTS, AND DOCUMENTING RESOLUTION DETAILS. IDENTIFYING AND RECORDING KEY DEADLINES FOR THE WORKSTREAM IN THE CLIENT ENGAGEMENT TO ENSURE CLEAR COMMUNICATION, ORGANIZATION, AND COORDINATION BETWEEN MULTIPLE PARTIES, AND CONSTRUCTING A WORK PLAN AROUND THEM THAT WILL QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY ACHIEVE CLIENT GOALS WHILST ALSO ALLOWING FOR REASONABLE WORK TIME AND UNEXPECTED DELAYS OR PIVOTS. MANAGING THE SERVICE TRANSITION FROM ERP IMPLEMENTATION TEAM TO APPLICATION MANAGEMENT SERVICES TEAM COORDINATING WITH OFFSHORE COUNTERPARTS. IDENTIFYING THE APPROPRIATE DELOITTE PROFESSIONALS FOR THE PROJECT AND DEFINING THEIR ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS. MANAGING PROJECT DELIVERY FROM THE WORKLOAD AND RESOURCE PERSPECTIVE INCLUDING MANAGING THE WORKLOAD ASSIGNMENT OF RESOURCES ON THE PROJECT AND ORGANIZING TEAM MEETINGS. CREATING PLANS TO MITIGATE RISKS AND ISSUES OVER THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT AND MANAGING THE SCOPE USING CHANGE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES. COMMUNICATING WITH STAKEHOLDERS TO PROVIDE ACCURATE REPORTING AND INFORMATION SHARING REGARDING THE ONGOING PROJECT ACTIVITIES, RISKS AND INITIATIVES. MANAGING THE SLA'S, AND MOTIVATING RESOURCES IN SUPPORT OF TIMELINE AND PROJECT DELIVERABLES, COORDINATING, NEGOTIATING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS AND USE WIN-WIN APPROACH TO NEGOTIATE/RESOLVE CONFLICTS. ADHERING TO QUALITY PROCESSES AND EVD METHODOLOGY TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AS PER THE GUIDELINES DEFINED BY QUALITY & RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM. LEADING DELOITTE INTERNAL PROJECT EVALUATIONS & YEAR-END APPRAISAL PROCESS INCLUDING EVALUATING THEIR STRENGTHS, DEVELOPMENT AREAS, OVERALL CONTRIBUTIONS, & PROMOTION RECOMMENDATIONS. COACHING TEAM MEMBERS & COUNSELEES ON CAREER GROWTH, GATHERING OBJECTIVE FEEDBACK ON THEIR PERFORMANCE & REPRESENTING THEM IN THE YEAR END CONSENSUS. ESTABLISHING THE OVERALL REPORTING STRUCTURE & COLLABORATING WITH SENIOR MANAGEMENT TO SET-UP THE OVERALL PROCESS FOR TRACKING THE METRICS OF INCIDENTS &ENHANCEMENTS & VALUE ENHANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:
  • Gathering, designing and developing solutions for forms, reports, workflows and scripting languages for ERP systems;
  • Designing and developing ERP design specifications using ADF (application design framework) and OAF (object architecture framework);
  • Validating and performing unit testing of custom developed programs within ERP systems;
  • Designing strategic directions for conversions, integration, reports and extension objects during migration into new ERP systems;
  • Leading successful implementations of client ERP systems, including supply chain and customer relationship management modules;
  • Utilizing upgrades to existing Oracle ERP to facilitate integrations into single instances;
  • Using SOA to integrate ERP systems with multiple legacy systems;
  • Designing and developing reports and dashboards using Hyperion Tool.
