Cloud Continuous Improvement Lead

Work youll do:

Work with clients to understand and solve their most pressing business and technical challenges while leading a diverse talent group in support of Federal and State Government agencies. Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients technology leaders and help guide clients Cloud vision. Create new opportunities to showcase Cloud technologies and capabilities for our clients. Help lead our Cloud practice, develop our future Cloud leaders, and expand the Deloitte Cloud brand throughout the public sector marketplace.

The team:

Our Cloud Engineering team focuses on enabling our clients end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of: Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. We help our clients see the transformational capabilities of Cloud as an opportunity for business enablement and competitive advantage.

Cloud Engineering supports our clients by improving agility and resilience, while identifying opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation. We advance our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions and Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators, to achieve their vision.

As a Consultant in our Practice you will:

Responsible for delivering exceptional IT service, along with ensuring that customer incidents and service requests are completed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Own the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) policies and processes, including incident, change, request, and problem management and provide on-time ITSM internal and external reporting. Continue to mature and expand the value-add and drive down the cost of goods sold through continuous improvements within the Global Cloud Operations (GCO) Shared Services team. This includes maturing the GPS Pod and the GCO-GPS support model.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and guidance to the Global Cloud Operations organization across the United States and US-India delivery centers
  • Responsible for continuous process improvement utilizing data from all service management activities to identify performance strengths, coloration, and trends that identify opportunities for improvement by data-driven metrics
  • Ensure seamless delivery to our customers
  • Manage the creation and/or improvement of service management policies and procedures
  • Establish ITSM operational baselines and metrics to evaluate the health and quality of client service delivery
  • Analyze business processes to determine gaps and identifies technologies enabled solutions to close identified gaps
  • Support sales via hosting GCO command center visits, proposal responses, statement-of-work (SOW) development, and review process
  • Develop one-, two-, and three-year service management road map that aligns with industry best practices
  • Ensure business continuity plans are tested and in place for all 24x7x365 global operations within Cloud Managed Services
  • Provide thought leadership on the delivery of cloud managed services
  • Maintain a broad understanding of the various technologies utilized in the CSP (AWS, Azure, and Google) environments
  • Flexibility in Deloitte U.S. office location for this role


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5 or more years of experience within an operations and process improvement lead role, preferably within a Cloud environment
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
