Our Communications Center of Excellence in the Green Dot Agency is looking for an Internal Communications Senior Manager 2 to lead up our internal communications capabilities

You will act as primary advisor and strategist for your team to guide the development of innovative internal communications strategies that deliver key marketplace messages to internal audiences. You will also act as the interface and advisor with colleagues in the Green Dot Agency, as well as strategic marketers and key stakeholders in the businesses, as warranted. Your primary objectives will include enhancing client conversations through internal campaigns, growing attendance and engagement in market-facing activities, and/or increasing employee participation in brand ambassadorship.

The Team

The Green Dot Agency is Deloitte's in-house agency. Sitting within the Marketing Excellence (ME) organization, we provide value to Deloitte by differentiating the Deloitte brand, driving Deloitte's business priorities forward, innovating new marketing solutions, and delivering distinct client experiences. We develop cutting-edge marketing plans, creative assets, and unique experiences that engage our clients; deliver on the strategy of our businesses in the marketplace; and capture the hearts, minds, and loyalty of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Council the firm's senior leadership and provide insights on internal communications strategy - education, awareness, and engagement
  • Work with senior leadership and strategic marketing planners (SMPs) to identify select marketing campaigns where strategic internal communications support can produce the greatest impact
  • Define and evolve internal comms strategy for overall Agency contributions - short and long term; act as a key member of extended Agency leadership team
  • Manage multiple programs, consistently delivering high quality results
  • Oversee the development and execution of internal comms plans for campaigns across Deloitte's businesses, industry, and Green Dot initiatives
  • Collaborate with other Internal Comms leaders across Deloitte to cultivate and nurture the broader, firmwide internal communications community
  • Understand and apply communications measurement to understand impact of internal marketing efforts and contribution to overall Green Dot Agency efforts
  • When required, oversee crisis management efforts and, in coordination with communications leadership, determine best approach
  • Manage multiple teams and work with more junior members to ensure quality results; help them develop the skills necessary to reach the next level in their career
  • Manage external resources and budget allocations (i.e., through contractors) to support internal communications work
  • Employ strong project management skills and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, while consistently delivering high quality results
  • Stay in front of industry best practices, benchmarks, and innovative approaches to apply to internal communications efforts supporting marketing campaigns
