RFA Hybrid-Operate Overview:

The Hybrid-Operate Team is a division within Risk and Financial Advisory (RFA) that delivers next-generation managed services and innovative technology products to help clients effectively monitor, manage, and measure complex risk.

Work You'll Do

This role will be responsible for helping price complex offerings with technology product components. Our clients have a wide variety of needs, and our team usually becomes involved with clients who require managed services or products or both. You will help price these complex arrangements and ensure that appropriate revenue is allocated to all parts of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand Services and Product pricing methodologies and their applicability to various client scenarios
  • Build relationships with Products and Managed Services Client teams and be a trusted strategic advisor on how to price menu items
  • Understand the methodologies used for price optimization and translate model outputs into digestible formats our clients will buy
  • Understand the Hybrid-Operate's strategy and goals, dissect previous pricing strategy performance, synthesize past and future local market events to adjust product pricing strategies
  • Proactively lookout for market trends and activities that may impact pricing and provide timely advice
  • Gain a deep understanding of the value of each product and create a pricing strategy in-line with how clients perceive value and buy


Collaboration
  • Regularly collaborate with all Product Managers in developing and managing their pricing strategies
  • Work closely with Hybrid-Operate Sales and contracting teams to ensure pricing models are applied correctly for complex scenarios
  • Where applicable, engage clients during the sales process to understand their needs and adjust the pricing model for complex offerings/bundlings


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a finance major and/or relevant experience required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in software product pricing with a solid understanding of software pricing strategies for on-premise and XaaS
  • Good general management focus with a good understanding of business finance/accounting, and a basic understanding of selling and buying process for software
  • Must be comfortable performing impromptu financial modeling, analyzing numbers, developing insights (including ad hoc analysis), and developing presentations to present these insights
  • Must have strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Must be able to balance a number of tasks, work to deadlines and produce quality deliverables, in addition to developing good working relationships
  • Experience in communicating technical and non-technical topics with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Ability to influence others and mentor junior members
  • Must have strong organizational skills, critical reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate independently and thrive within a fast-paced work environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working knowledge of VBA and familiarity with/desire to train on LAMBDA
  • Expertise in MS Office
