What you’ll be doing...

We are looking to hire a Project Manager – Communications for the VCG GTS Organization. VCG GTS strives to continuously improve its employee experience and we know that great communication across the company has a proven impact on positive employee engagement. A key aspect of the Culture and Communications Project Manager is to boost morale and build productivity within teams for better and more efficient execution of tasks and projects. This project manager leads on many different projects to ensure cohesion between project teams and to make sure that projects meet the initial brief from the various stakeholders. Often, they conduct meetings with employees and clients to find solutions to problems and strengthen partnerships.
This role will require the PM to carry out a seamless employee engagement strategy and provide necessary learning and development opportunities. You will need to focus on the needs of the employee as well as organize skill development programs for the growth of the employees. The C&C PM will need to uphold a strong feedback system that is specific, on time, and transparent. It is important that the PM promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace, as well as keep the engagement efforts of the organization intact. One of the primary focuses of this role is to lead all GTS VCG employee communications globally. Its main aims are to both focus on how we communicate globally and regionally and continue to improve employee engagement through clear, transparent and two-way communication. This role will work closely with VPs, CIOs, executive leadership, HR teams and senior stakeholders, to deliver communications on a broad spectrum of employee engagement.

  • Manage a team of individuals to execute and maintain employee’s communications and engagement.
  • Create project plans for new VP initiatives.
  • Communications Strategy & Implementation.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate an internal communications strategy, ensuring that business goals, initiatives and organizational/people news are communicated regularly and effectively.
  • Lead on the development and delivery of a global engagement and communications calendar ensuring all initiatives/activities are delivered and communicated about in timely and efficient ways.
  • Deliver end-to-end internal employee engagement plans and campaigns to inspire and engage employees.
  • Support senior leaders in their communications efforts in keeping their functions informed of updates and changes in consistent and engaging ways.
  • Employee Experience communications.
  • Support both the VP Organization Development and Organization Development Support Manager in a wide range of operational initiatives with the aim to continuously improve GTS VCGs employee experience.
  • Help craft, distribute and support key communications e.g. Performance Management, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Career Progression, Wellbeing.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Degree.
  • Experience in an engagement/communications role, ideally employee facing.
  • Proven track record in creating and maintaining employee communications strategies and plans; devising and implementing, effective, result-oriented employee communications projects and programs.
  • Experience with people management.
  • Excellent writing, proofing and editing skills.
  • Able to work effectively and productively with internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and well organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent IT skills including the use Google suite, content management, Microsoft Office and image and video editing.
  • Comfortable with data analytics and has good experience with data manipulation using Excel.
  • Ability to develop and manage relations between teams at multiple levels of a company.
  • Ability to make adjustments and knowing what options are available to implement the appropriate plan changes when needed.
  • Ability to find solutions and liaise with team members to quickly mitigate project challenges so they don’t affect project outcomes.
