We are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate internal communications manager to join our Consulting Marketing team to support Cross-Consulting priorities and connectivity to our networks.

What you'll do:

You will work closely with our Office of the Consulting CEO (OCEO), Offering Portfolio (OP) and Industry senior leadership team and other communications and marketing professionals within Consulting Marketing to coordinate communications efforts in support of driving Deloitte Consulting's growth strategy. Your work will involve:

  • Building comprehensive communications strategies, engagement, and execution plans aligned to key priorities that are grounded in communications' best practices and a deep understanding of how the business operates
  • Serving as a strategic communications partner to the OCEO team around cross-consulting messaging to be cascaded to OP and Industry teams across the network
  • Clearly defining and documenting messaging priorities across key communications channels to minimize overlap and maximize the impact of messages delivered
  • Regularly collecting and analyzing data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications' tactics; adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches in an agile fashion based on performance benchmarks and KPIs
  • Fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative communications, segmented by target audience, that drive strategic business objectives
  • Overseeing the development of impactful content designed around storytelling principles and human-centric, inclusive language to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures Deloitte's unique culture and values
  • Collaborating and aligning with communications teammates to activate and cascade or reinforce priority business messages and campaigns across network channels
  • Liaising with junior resources to support execution and performance measurement / metrics of internal communications tactics
  • Contributing to a high-performing team by sharing best practices across communications, marketing, and business stakeholders / cohorts in support of communications excellence across the organization

Qualifications include:

  • Communications professional with a minimum of 7+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, and / or Business, is required
  • Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies / plans for a large business, preferably in professional services
  • Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects / priorities
  • Strong executive presence and comfort working with and advising senior management
  • Analytical mindset, with ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and strategies
  • Detail-oriented with fantastic follow-through skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills-including effective storytelling and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional, virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and / or professional services a plus
  • Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
  • Proficient in MS Office suite-including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive; knowledge of the latest internal communications measurement platforms a plus
  • Travel of up to 10% (While up to 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
