What you will do:
  • Provide overall project direction for schedule, cost, performance, and resources.

  • Lead a cross-functional project team from early phases to the delivery of fully developed applications.

  • Closely monitor project performance to be able to recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions as needed to deliver on project commitments. Partner with stakeholders to develop project business cases, determine user needs, and execute user testings. Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to leadership throughout project life cycle.

  • Develop strong relationships with team members

  • Create, monitor, and control project plans including: Scope, Schedule / Burndowns / Task Lists / Resources, Business Case / Capital Equipment Request / Budget, Risk Assessments / Mitigation / Contingency Planning

  • Support development of functional specifications that fully define project and application/product: Cost, Performance criteria

  • Develop and direct project team members

  • Provide periodic progress reports to other functional areas of the company affected by the project

  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders on project health and key issues

  • Promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues

  • Provide technical expertise in planning, execution, of projects

  • Maintain excellent relationships with all levels of the matrix organization

  • Create funding requests, forecast, monitor and report on project financials, and maintain financials in project management tools

  • Ensure all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in business case

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • PMP certification preferred

  • 4+ years of professional experience is required

  • Extensive record of successfully planning and delivering complex projects

  • Experience managing remote project teams

  • Experience in a multicultural and multi-functional environment

  • Expertise in Microsoft Project and other project management tools

  • Demonstrated experience in full project management lifecycle for software/maintenance/ development/ implementation projects and IT methodologies (ITIL)

  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions; demonstrated experience managing customer relationships

  • Ability to define a project, milestones, and objectives from an initial business request.
