What you will do

  • Lead the annual commission plan and quota design cycle, performing analyses to inform potential plan improvements, design, and quota changes.

  • Own and manage ongoing quota setting process.

  • Manage and improve the processes related to performance tracking and commission calculations for the sales organization.

  • Conduct quarterly sales compensation analysis to include distribution showing performance to plan vs. payout, composition of payout, and annual run-rate to determine future period compensation plan revisions while also ensuring overall program is motivational and aligned with business operating plan.

  • Develop and communicate effective sales compensation tools for the sales organization such as: compensation plans and income projection models and provide training on the use of these tools.

  • Work with field sales management to create territory alignments. Combine quantitative tools and feedback from field stakeholders to optimize territory sizing and maximize growth.

  • Utilizing a variety of different statistical methods, provide annual cost projections of sales incentive programs to support the corporate budgeting process.

  • Development and administration of all mid-year sales contests and ancillary SPIFF programs

  • Ownership of the end to end sales awards program which entails the annual evaluation of the existing award program, partnership with sales leadership on modifications to the existing program and recommendations for new awards, development of the program guide, monthly stack rankings, and facilitation of the annual banquet at the National Sales Meeting.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent

  • 8+ years of related experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Sales Compensation Design experience (preferred)

  • Mathematics background (preferred)
