Job Summary

The Army Aviation Training Manager manages the organization and oversight of day-to-day OJT/Mentorship training instruction. Manages day-to-day execution of client efforts though the coordinated efforts of assigned personnel.
  • Responsible to maintain sufficient instructors and their qualifications.
  • Manage training and development objectives for site customer.
  • Develop and manage training objectives and initiatives.
  • Recommend and develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs to ensure training needs are met.
  • Plan, develop, and provide training as required to include on-the-job training methods.
  • Oversee the development and organization of training products, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
  • Develop, obtain and report metrics on training programs and other initiatives.
  • Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by the customer or other departments in the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Required.
  • FAA A&P Certificate Or military equivalent required.
  • The Army Instructor Training Course-TAITC Preferred or FAA equivalent.
  • 8 Years experience in Business Management with 10 years experience in Logistics.
  • COVID Vaccine required for deployment
    Ability to obtain UAE Work Visa and UAE Drivers license
  • Will be required to open a UAE bank account upon arrival to UAE
    Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
  • US Citizen
  • Valid US Passport

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Previous training supervisory experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
  • Ability to diagnose training needs and provide the appropriate training methods and programs.
  • Well-developed oral, written, presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and supervisory skills with an ability to lead, coach, and manage others.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Typically, work is in normal office environment.

Due to operational locations of various programs, may be required to travel to austere environments under harsh living conditions.
