Digital Controllership - Center of Excellence Manager

The team provides clients with an extensive range of accounting and reporting services designed to help enhance the value finance delivers to its overall business. We work with organizations to help them reduce risk and improve internal and external reporting capabilities to meet accounting and regulatory requirements, and/or enhance strategic decision making. Our deep experience also extends to governance in complex operating models and support for major business events and transactions, including capital markets transactions, derivatives and hedging advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Manages intake process and scope of all initiatives handled by the COE resources
• Serves as the liaison with the initiative leads in the business during the intake process and shifts to QA throughout
• Manages COE resources, mid-year/YE performance, assigns resources to projects, etc.
• Review requirements documents and key deliverables throughout, reviews project plans, enforces project standards across initiatives
• Facilitate steering committee updates
• Liaison with internal firm IT resources to secure appropriate resources
• Develop annual budget and resources hours, manages and reports against projects
• Identifies new opportunities for innovation and expansion of digital assets and accelerators
• Communicates/promotes the benefits and applicability of digital solutions and accelerators across the practice
• Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• 6-8 (2-3 at manager level)
• Finance/business experience
• Project management Experience
• Strong technical skills in broad set of relevant toolsets (Visual Analytics, SQL, Alteryx, etc.)
• Experience with innovation or other development projects
• Strong people skills
