Program Manager

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our successful team of knowledgeable and caring experts in their daily support of our warfighters through multiple DoD agencies and bases. You're a detail-oriented, motivated Program Manager with strong program management experience to support NAVY program requirements with a focus on Radar/RF/Surveillance Systems, specifically those supporting engineering, testing, integration, and field services. You're willing to invest the time to learn from our existing team of experts while building a strong working relationship with our customer to provide quality deliverables with efficiency. The work requires self-motivation in learning and a drive to help our customer not only meet but excel in their mission.

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support activities to our clients that include:

• Administrative and technical leadership in the completion of multiple contracts, including responsibility for cost, schedule and overall performance.
• Planning and procuring necessary staffing to achieve work completion milestones and deliverables.
• Monitoring fulfillment of contract requirements to ensure quality and timeliness of services/deliverables to various customers.
• Supervising, coordinating, providing leadership to and reviewing the work of assigned staff and/or contracts.
• Interfacing with customers on a regular basis for support of engineering and program management activities.
• Monitoring customer feedback and advise on a broad range of issues related to products/services being delivered.
• Participating in business development including identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies and managing proposal development.
• Performing multi-disciplinary analysis of system designs to determine compliance with specifications and standards.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
• Ten (10) years of demonstrated management experience or project level management in DoD major systems.
• Five (5) years of experience as the primary point of contact for tasking including supervisory and hiring manager experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

• PMP Certification
• An existing DoD clearance at secret or above.
• Functional expertise in systems engineering disciplines with additional management experience with DoD 5000 series defined major weapons systems platforms in areas such as sensors and radar, electronic warfare (EW), Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors Maritime, Fixed Radars and high-energy weapons.
