Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join the OASIS Leadership Team and direct all Mission Assurance activities for the OASIS Program in Alice Springs, Australia at the Joint Defence Facility Pine Gap (JDFPG) site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide effective functional Quality and Mission Assurance leadership, strategic direction, management and technical guidance for the Mission Assurance team and the OASIS Program
• Foster and develop a positive working environment with respectful and collaborative business relationships with the Mission Assurance team, other members of the OASIS leadership team, key US Government personnel and other site personnel at JDFPG
• Coach, train and develop employees on the OASIS program in process improvements and techniques to ensure the specific customer objectives are achieved
• Coordinate and manage quality and process improvement activities across all functional areas, managing internal audits and associated corrective actions
• Collect and present data on process improvement initiatives and activities
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Support Process Improvement Committee by organising meetings, coordinating agendas and managing the Process Improvement List
• Ensure compliance with all site environmental health and safety requirements
  
  

• High School Diploma
• Industry recognized Quality Assurance certification
• 5 years’ experience managing projects of similar size, scope and complexity
• Knowledge of and ability to apply process improvement models
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage cost schedule, scope, risk, deliverables and related metrics
• Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be a US citizen and possess or have the ability to obtain a TS SCI with poly clearance or an Australian citizen and possess or have the ability to obtain a TSPV

• Undergraduate Degree in a related field (i.e. Quality Assurance, Engineering, Business Management)
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Proven experience delivering multiple, successful project outcomes, on time and within budget
• Proven experience of a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
