Job Description:

  • The Sr. Solution Manager is responsible for own E2E Ariba ISM solution and delivery for integrated systems within the procurement area and corresponding set of applications.

  • Sr. Solution manager will also be responsible for managing people within Ariba track. In this role the Sr. Solution manager will partner with Technical Analysts and Technical functional Analysts to understand the overall business need, define overarching requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and develop an overarching architectural design and model that will support Stryker’s business needs.

  • The Sr. Solution manager is responsible for planning & executing deliverables, verifying the detailed technical documents, validating the configuration within the assigned applications, and ensuring solutions are delivered based on the architected design.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Ariba ISM solutions for E2E strategic and operational procurement business processes within GAD SC organization

  • Responsible for planning & managing deliverables along with SI’s, business and PMP for Ariba ISM project .

  • Responsible for managing SOW‘s

  • Responsible for managing talent & groom Ariba talent within GAD SC organization

  • Responsible for resolving conflicts within core execution team and escalate RAID to program governance team as appropriate

  • Responsible for the delivery of capabilities and other supporting technologies within the Ariba ISM.

  • Responsible for the reviews and measures work quality performed by the Systems Integrator teams and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Manages and coordinates with external suppliers, eco system IT team and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and quality metrics.

  • Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.

  • Play a significant role within the Architecture Review Board, in not only defining application standards, but also driving the final decision on solution.

  • Accountable for the Solution Review Board activities driving architecture decisions, technical approvals across the application area, and alignment of scope against Run team minor releases.

  • Lead solution development and implementation for new systems and enhancements and participate in defining technical standards for the specialty area.

  • Produce or review detailed functional and technical documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of an Ariba platform and deliver the end to end technical solution.

  • Play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).

  • Responsible for all technical design, prototypes/mock-ups, development, testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projects within the Ariba ISM space.

  • Works closely with strategic solution partners, business process owners, architects/leads from other tracks and super users to close out every phase as part of deployment playbook or project methodology.

  • Proactively identify business and system improvements, make recommendations, take ownership and bring those initiatives to successful implementation in Ariba ISM area.

  • Collaborate with other Global ERP Program teams, IT Business Partners, Build and Run teams, various Infrastructure teams, and Business Deployment teams.

  • Manage a team of End-to-End architects leading and facilitating cross-platform workshops, setting direction for technical and configuration solutions, and meeting project schedules and milestones.

  • Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack

  • Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics

  • Hands-on experience across several disciplines.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study is required.

  • Master’s degree in MIS, MBA or related disciplines is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience with Direct & Indirect Procurement, Sourcing, Ariba ISM full life-cycle implementations and demonstrated project implementation experience is required

  • Minimum of 5+ of Direct & Indirect project implementation experience in Ariba sourcing, supplier life cycle performance, supplier risk mgmt., guided buying, and Supplier collaboration (Ariba) is required

  • Deep understanding of systems, configuration and business processes within Ariba ISM and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems is required

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms is required

  • In depth understanding of the Ariba Application Architecture & Technology including SAP ECC & S4/Hana is required

  • Hybrid or Onsite – Role requires reasonable proximity to a Stryker facility and provides the flexibility to decide on either a hybrid or onsite working arrangement. Selected candidate would be hired in as one of these options.
