What you will do-

The Manager, Corporate Sustainability Standards will collaborate with the Corporate Sustainability team and be primarily responsible to develop and deploy Stryker’s sustainability management system. This person will oversee and ensure that an effective and efficient sustainability system is built and maintained to support Stryker commitments in focus areas including, but not limited to, direct and indirect carbon emissions, waste reduction, water reduction, and sustainable product and packaging development.

In this fast-paced environment, this person will engage with representatives across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, commercial, and R&D to establish strong networks and ensure standards are deployed that help Stryker meet current and future sustainability targets.

Additional Responsibilities-

  • Partner with the Corporate Sustainability team to develop Stryker’s Sustainability Management System framework in accordance with relevant external frameworks (including but not limited GRI, SASB, CDP, ISO 14001, ISO50001) and Stryker’s Corporate Responsibility goals
  • Identify best in class sustainability standards and practices through continuous benchmarking against industry leaders and stakeholder requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and improve sustainability policies and procedures in collaboration Sustainability Director, EHS leadership, and cross-functional Global and Divisional Process Owners
  • Deploy sustainability standards to key internal stakeholders in collaboration with Sustainability Director
  • Develop & ensure delivery of training to ensure compliance against sustainability management system and established standards
  • Conduct and manage internal assessment process to evaluate compliance with Stryker’s written standards
  • Identify improvements & inputs into the sustainability planning process to ensure management system supports established goals and metrics
  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sustainability Management System.

What you need

  • 8 years experience
