Deloitte Consulting is a leading strategy organization advising clients around the world. To compete in the next-generation as a strategy advisor, the firm is making an investment in elevating our capabilities to bring data driven insights that help shape the strategic agenda within the C-Suite. The Knowledge Center is a critical component of that strategy. The Knowledge Center is a series of teams that sit at the intersection of strategy and industry. Their goal is to cultivate insights through primary and secondary research as well as partnership with centers of excellence within the firm. The team partners with commercial leaders to infuse client interactions with differentiated intellectual property that help distinguish Deloitte Consulting's capabilities versus competitors.

The leader of the Life Sciences Knowledge Center practice will be tasked with developing a strong network within account leadership and client service to align and shape the commercial offering. They should bring strong subject matter expertise to identify, research, and assemble commercial frameworks around key industry trends. They should be a results-oriented manager that is excited for the opportunity to build and expand a growing team. Additionally, they should bring a combination of relationship, research, and content packaging skills in order to move from data to insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the strategic agenda for the Life Science Knowledge Center in partnership with Life Sciences, Strategy, and cross-sector Knowledge Center leadership
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of senior commercial leaders and research teams within Deloitte to shape priorities, source data/content, and deliver insights to market
  • Collaborating with leadership at large life sciences accounts and serving as a subject matter expert in presentations, in the press, and other client facing activities
  • Guiding development of data driven assets, such as a corporate strategy insights dashboard, to help Deloitte leaders gain insights into our client's business and deliver higher quality projects
  • Leading hybrid onshore/offshore Knowledge Center team to develop an industry leading data and insights platform within Life Sciences
  • Support the education and training of our consulting team, from junior to the most senior practitioners, on the latest industry trends and issues facing our clients
  • Establish pan industry frameworks, supported by data and content, to address our client's most pressing needs


Successful candidates will have:
  • Previous experience in strategy consulting, equity research or investment banking focused on the life sciences industry
  • 6-10 years of experience in Life Sciences
  • Ability to develop and present senior executive level insights and presentations for the life sciences industry
  • Executive presentation skills and ability to manage and influence senior leaders
  • Ability to create concise and impactful narratives across a variety of content mediums (Power Point, white papers, short format, etc.)
  • Familiarity data and analysis skills, including experience with Life Sciences industry specific datasets
  • Deep understanding of the macro trends in the healthcare industry and intersection points between ecosystem players
  • Interest and experience in building and leading an offshore team virtually
  • A desire to be part of an entrepreneurial and fast paced team environment
