Position Summary:

IT Manager is responsible for the strategy, design, build, test and implementation of security solutions which enable the business community to achieve their goals and objectives, while providing proper control. The role will partner closely with ERP program teams to ensure all access controls and data security standards are met across all architectural layers.

This is a remote role and can hire a resource to work anywhere out of the United States!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Defines SAP system security approach & architecture, including access privileges, control structures, and resources

  • Partners with the Business Risk and Controls teams to create an entitlement framework and SOD ruleset

  • Lead a team of onshore and offshore SAP security professionals, including Stryker and managed service providers.

  • Ability to define and ensure a standard of work in a matrixed environment with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones (Michigan, New Jersey, India, Mexico).

  • Collaborates with business leads to define application level (SAP etc.) roles and responsibilities

  • Understands and leverages SAP best and standard practices to ensure a robust, yet simple system security approach

  • Oversees implementations of security technologies required to support the ERP solution, including GRC

  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements

  • Define process for identifying security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits

  • Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports, communicating system status

Education & Special Trainings:

Requires a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent field of study

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Security & Controls with SAP security experience specifically focused in NetWeaver, S4, HANA

  • Experience with GRC 10 or 12 is a plus

  • Experience in a lead or manager role

  • Experience with interaction and/or partnership with the business or customers

  • Solid and proven experience working on medium/large sized projects in IT Security & Controls required
