Job Description:

Work with Emergency Care Sales/Marketing/Internal organization to manage programs including identifying strategic opportunities in key accounts and maximizing programs with partnering divisions. Plans, directs, and coordinates the selling of Stryker Emergency Care products. Develop, implement and enhance analytical tools; provide training, systems support and marketing materials as necessary to promote product in key strategic accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leads selling efforts and strategy with key national and regional accounts
  • Communicates the selling strategy with key accounts with the sales organization
  • Partners with sales team to foster relationships and develop a selling strategy with key accounts
  • Develop a strategy to drive growth through collaboration with Sales Leadership
  • Work with sales team to identify/assess business opportunities and to drive program and account performance
  • Identify, develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships; ensure key contacts are maintained throughout the sales process and post-sale activities
  • Develops and executes strategy for penetrating targeted accounts that will be identified through collaboration with Sales Directors, Regional Managers, and Account Managers
  • Identifies and executes opportunities to participate in cross-divisional collaboration
  • Continuously assess relevant markets to identify business opportunities, as well as appropriate products and services
  • Conduct business reviews on a quarterly basis with key accounts
  • Develop annual business plans, updated on a quarterly basis for the assigned region
  • Assist in the operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
  • Keeps Sales Director and Regional Managers informed of progress in the respective markets
  • Submit accurate, timely, and complete data to support forecasts, funnel management, and expense reports, etc.
  • Must adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA

Education & Special Trainings

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of work experience, sales highly preferred.
  • Must be able to routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers
  • Proven ability to develop strategies that complement and contribute to overall business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop both internal and external long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills inclusive of the ability to work with diverse groups
  • Demonstrated excellence in presentation creation and delivery skills
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data from a variety of sources
  • Must possess valid driver license in the state of residence with a good driving record

Physical Requirements

  • At times, may be required to move, set up and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds (lift unassisted 75-80 pounds), reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.
  • May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.
  • Coordination of the eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention
  • May handle various materials including but limited to: durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components comprised of rubber, metals and coated products.

  • Must be able to possess written and oral communication / present to large groups of people

  • Excellent customer service skills
